|Abhishek Thakore co-founded The Blue Ribbon Movement v1.0 in 2000 and revived it in its present form. He is a gold medalist from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. His corporate stints include consulting at Hay Group and Boston Consulting Group, where he worked across diverse sectors.He has represented global youth at the United Nations in New York. He has also participated in World Youth Congress (Turkey), Youth Encounters in Sustainability (Japan) and Dialogue on Science (Switzerland). He has been involved with organizations like India Against Corruption, Initiatives of Change, Center for Civil Society, Rotaract Movement etc. in different capacities.
He has authored 3 books, certified in several personal growth techniques and trained youngsters across geographies. He is currently pursuing his PhD from the Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT) Bombay.
At BRM, he is responsible for overall strategy, program design and delivery, international engagement and partnerships.
|Akshat Singhal is a co-founder of The Blue Ribbon Movement.He has worked with Third Sector Partners to launch Barefootjobs.org – a job portal for non-profit space. Prior to this, he has worked with Crossword Bookstores and has been consulting with Cinnamonteal Publishing.
An MBA from Sri Sri Institute of Management Studies, Goa, he was a part of capacity building activities for various NGOs. During his MBA, he initiated ‘India lies in You’ and was conferred with a special award for social consciousness.
He represented South Asian youth at IYSSEC, Beijing in 2011. He is a part of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community at Mumbai Hub.
At BRM, he is responsible for outreach, marketing, project implementation, finance and administration. He is also involved in the execution aspects of partnerships and international projects.
Ayushi Banerji graduated from St. Xaviers College, Mumbai as an honours student in economics. At The Blue Ribbon Movement, she is Program Lead, Avanti Young Women Leadership Program, this program is aimed at building leadership among young girls by engaging them in addressing prevalent social issues. She manages customized formats of the Social Leaders Program (one of which took place in Ladakh) and additionally she is in charge of people matters within the team.
In the past, she has interned in different capacities with Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Akanksha Foundation, an NGO. Ayushi brings with her lot of passion and commitment to contribute to the development sector.
Akash Jaiswal is the Program Lead for BRM’s RELEAD Program. He is responsible for the marketing, outreach and execution of Relead.
He has been a part of NSS CCF as a fellow in the pilot batch of 2013-14 and showed his active participation in NSS CCF 2014-15 as alumni.
He had completed his graduation in the stream of forensic science from Institute Of Forensic Science, Mumbai. He has shown very active management in NSS cell of the college. Also, he has organized many events in college. Beside all this, he has also worked as a teacher for more than two years and he is passionate about teaching and interacting with children’s.
Along with work and passion he has some of his favorite hobbies like reading,exploring,travelling and interacting with new people.For him everyday is a chance to explore life.He loves to be independent and want to live like a free bird.
